This theatrical new work by Luke Styles features experimental vocal trio Juice and Trish Clowes' jazz/classical ensemble Tangent, performing alongside three live dancers.  Blurring the boundaries between dancer and musician, this evocative piece retells a Native Canadian folk tale in a playful, highly dynamic way.

‘I'm thrilled to have the chance to create a new work for such dynamic forces as Juice, Tangent and dancers. The exposure and performance platform for this as part of the New Music Biennial only increase the excitement I have to compose something virtuosic, lyric, energised and with a touch of improvisation.’ Luke Styles

‘Juice are thrilled to have been selected for the New Music Biennial! It will be a huge pleasure to present our piece in Glasgow and at London's Southbank. We’re really looking forward to collaborating with Luke, Trish Clowes and Tangent, and working with a choreographer for the first time.’
